Театралізована вистава є заключним етапом проектної діяльності на тему «Видатні англійські письменники: Чарльз Діккенс».

Робота над проектом велася на уроках англійської мови (домашнє читання) протягом кількох місяців. При читанні твору особливу увагу приділяли вимові та інтонації. Учні ще до виступу розігрували діалоги та окремі сцени із книги. Надалі учасники проекту самі відбирали майбутніх виконавців ролей.

Підготовка до вистави та сама театралізована вистава в рамках цього проекту створює максимальні умови для прояву та становлення творчих артистичних можливостей учнів.

Робота над проектом розвиває уяву, фантазію, колективну відповідальність за результат спільної діяльності та приносить задоволення учням, які бачать продукт своєї власної праці.

Такі форми презентації як театралізована вистава є також частиною мовної практики та інтегративного розвитку комунікативних умінь іншомовного мовного спілкування як вид роботи з підтримання досягнутого рівня, вдосконалення та поглиблення підготовки учнів.

Поданий сценарій може бути використаний у рамках позакласної роботи з предмета.

Але ось на Олівера зійшло благословення небес, він знайомиться з доброчесним містером Браунлоу, а потім опиняється в будинку своєї тітки, про спорідненість з якою він і не здогадується. Поява родичка не до вподоби зведеному братові Олівера Монксу. Той усіляко перегороджує шлях до гідного життя нещасного сироти, віддаючи його до рук Фейгіна. У результаті Олівер залишається жити у містера Браунлоу, а зловмисники вирушають за ґрати і на шибеницю.
